Please reach us at foreveryourstattoocompany@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
What is the best age to pierce my baby’s ears? We offer piercings starting at six months old, following pediatric recommendations. Some parents choose earlier, but waiting until key vaccinations have been administered is advisable.
Does the piercing process hurt? The sensation is brief, like a small pinch. Babies often cry due to surprise rather than pain.
What type of earrings do you use? We use implant-grade, hypoallergenic earrings, including titanium, gold, and surgical stainless steel, to minimize allergic reactions.
Can I bring my own earrings? For safety, all earrings must be pre-sterilized and designed specifically for fresh piercings. Outside jewelry may not meet these standards. Please reach out with questions for a more accurate answer.
How do I care for my baby’s new piercings? Gently clean with pressurized sterile saline ONLY, a minimum of twice a day. Avoid excessive touching and monitor for signs of irritation. Please ensure ears are dry after cleaning.
How long does it take to heal? Healing typically takes 6-8 weeks. Changing earrings too soon can cause irritation or infection.
What are the signs of infection? Watch for redness, swelling, discharge, or persistent discomfort. If symptoms persist, consult a pediatrician.
Is ear piercing safe for babies? Yes, when performed by licensed professionals using proper sterilization techniques. Parents should monitor healing closely to ensure safety.
Do both parents need to be present? No, but one legal guardian must accompany the child and provide identification.
What if my baby won’t stay still? For safety, we may reschedule if the baby is excessively fussy or distressed.
Can I remove the earrings before healing is complete? Removing earrings too early can cause the hole to close or lead to infection. We advise waiting until full healing. We are happy to assist in changing your babies earrings when the initial piercing is healed.
Do you offer re-piercing if an earring falls out? Yes! Within the first 8 weeks, we offer a one-time free re-piercing, provided healing allows for it. We have NEVER had to re-pierce a baby thus far, but want to make sure you are covered in the event of an accidental earring loss.
All children under 18 MUST HAVE NATURAL PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN ONLY. Birth Certificates or Passport with Age are required for children not yet old enough for a FL state issued ID or passport. A NOTARTIZED consent form must be completed.
Do I have to pay a deposit? Yes! All infant appointments must be PREPAID and are NON REFUNDABLE, appointments may be rescheduled at no cost 24 hours in advance.
